5 Acne-Safe Tips to Complete Your Full-Face Makeup Look

When it comes to makeup and acne, itโ€™s all about choosing the right products that won't make your acne worse!

Weโ€™ve partnered with our client and makeup guru @jarznar, and PRIIA Cosmetics to showcase some of our favorite acne-safe products to create an easy-to-copy makeup look.

5 Tips to Complete Your Full-Face Ance Safe Makeup Look

Tip #1: Find multi-use products

Layer PRIIA Liquid Mineral Foundation and Powder Foundation together for a full coverage makeup look or use them individually for a more natural look. Find more tips for applying Priia's Powder Foundation in our last post.

Tip #2: Shape-shift your brushes

Get the most of your brushes by manipulating their shape. When contouring your nose - pinch the bristles on your brush, creating a fan shape, then apply your contouring by running your brush vertically along both sides of the bridge of your nose.

Tip #3: Blend it out

After contouring your face with bronzer, go back in with powder foundation to blend the contours out. Be sure you've blended your makeup well into your hairline, and down your neck. This will soften the look, and everything will appear more natural.

Tip #4: Sometimes the best brush is no brush!

Don't be afraid to use your fingers to apply makeup. Using your ring finger to apply concealer or shadows allows you to get more coverage using the least amount of pressure. We love using our fingers to precisely apply highlighter. Just be sure to start with clean hands whenever applying makeup.

Tip #5: Layer and mix products

Mixing multiple products is a great way to create a more dimensional look. Mixing two tones of foundations can create a custom shade or using two highlighters, to add a pop to the cheeks.

Makeup can be a fun way to explore a new look or help you feel more confident.

Help keep your skin acne-free by checking your makeup and skin products before you use them to make sure they don't contain any pore-clogging ingredients.
